Erum’s journey is marked by dynamic achievements in media, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Starting as a BBC outsourced contributor at Bush House Holborn, she became the Programming Controller of PTV (Prime), the official Pakistan State Channel Franchise. Notably, she was the first woman in the Asian TV industry to lead a channel, introducing the first South Asian Music Charts on television.

With twenty-six years in PR and marketing, Erum is a seasoned campaign manager and brand strategist, driving impactful marketing strategies. She has successfully nurtured nine start-ups and offered courses that helped eighteen fledgling businesses thrive.

Erum also dedicates herself to education, sharing her knowledge at PINE’s incubator in Karachi. As a committed environmental advocate, she champions eco-causes, earning recognition from WWF and integrating sustainability into her initiatives.

Internationally, Erum empowers Pakistani women through her work with the Commonwealth, making significant impacts and inspiring women nationwide. She holds a BA (Honours) in Economics and Islamic History from Karachi University and an MBA from the University East London.

Her accolades include the Miracle Women Award and being a finalist for the ABM UK Mentor Award. Erum is also ranked among the top ten women in Pakistan for her contributions to women’s empowerment.

As a co-publisher, Erum has brought stories to life in “4:26 am” and “Memoirs of a Pakistani Woman,” with her writings featured in Trending Social and FHM. She has built a thriving community of over two hundred members, fostering sustainable growth and turning entrepreneurial visions into reality. Erum’s journey embodies resilience, leadership, and innovation.
